      Have a look at prewarcar.com, there is an article about Lecot’s 400,000 kms “raid.” There are some photos of him that I’ve never seen before.

        Thanks for the pointer Larry.

        It’s hard to imagine what drove Lecot to keep going.

        I wonder if anyone has a copy of his book “Mes 400.000 kilomètres: souvenirs de François Lecot”?

        Another book “François Lecot : 400 000 km en Traction, 1935-1936” by Gilles Blanchet and Fabien Sabates is 128 pages so should have all the details – but I don’t have a copy.
