SUMMER MEET TRACTION NORVÈGE 29th – 31st August 2008 in RØROS

Røros is situated rather centrally in the country and we hope for a great turn-out from both North and South and East and West. Røros is a special and characteristic town that is well worth to visit. We hope to give you an insight into the history of this mining town in the mountains as well as a sample of the very special atmosphere of Røros. In addition to the town itself, we will drive into the mountains and experience the life in the mines as it once was. We have chosen to stay at Idrettsparken Hotel which is only a short walk from the centre of the town. Idrettsparken has rooms in several categories and good parking facilities.

As a final attraction, you are also invited to visit the tractor museum belonging to our new member Robert Stenseth from Dalsbygda, 30 kilometres south of Røros.
