30th Anniversary Convoy
to the Rainbow Inn
May
1976 - May 2006
On May 21st the Surrey/Hants/Sussex Section had a
commemorative convoy to The Rainbow Inn where the TOC held their first
meeting in 1976.
Although we had a very wet drive to Sussex, the spirits of some 40 plus
members was not dampened. 20 Tractions and other cars blocked the car
park.
Patricia Brice the original editor of "Floating Power" came over from
Tunbridge Wells. Other members came from Oxford, Walborough, from North
London and Barry Annells brought Fred from Lincolshire. We were also
joined by Belgian members Walter and Noella Callens who were on there
way home to Belgium. Sue Simper as usual waved her magic wand and
produced a superb cake.
