Techno Classica 2010

(Essen, Germany)

Billed as "The Worlds leading vintage car trade fair", the “Technoclassica” in Essen, has been in 2009 a great place to show off activities of German Citroen car clubs to the almost 170.000 visitors.

The “Citroen-Strasse”, the 20-year-old association of all clubs, presented the two big anniversaries this year on 400 sqm: 75 years of Traction were celebrated with a TA Gauloises cabriolet, a Faux Cabriolet, Commerciale, Normale and Legere. On the other half, the 90 years of Automobiles Citroen retrospective started with a chassis #189 Type A 1919, Panhard DB Le Mans cabriolet, DS19, CX Prestige, SM, and not to forget the 2CV Charleston.

Why not already plan for your next trip to Germany in spring 2010, and have a look?

Swedish B11 Club Summer Rally

near Karlstad, Sweden

(Google translation from Norwegian)
2010's summer rally in the Swedish club has been added to Karlstad 21-23 May.
This is the Pentecost weekend, and we are pleased to an extra day off.
In the Swedish summer rally which is very well organized and pleasant, there are usually several Norwegian participants and Karlstad are so close to us that the drive should be affordable for most. Therefore, we should be able to set a little rich dues. A convoy run will be organised
to give reassurance for those who find it "scary" to drive far from home with such an old car.

Tour of Pas de Calais, France

In 2009, Arras welcomed an exceptional Citroën-demonstration : 75 Hours for 75 Years to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Traction Avant, never seen before.
All the participants appreciated the beauty of Arras and discovered that the Pas-de-Calais is more attractive than the media too often depict us.
The TU Nord thus proposes a rally to discover more of the Pas-de-Calais:

"CitroTour   Contrasts in Pas-de-Calais"

Date : June 26th-27th, 2010.

This rally is open for all Citroens more than 30 years old (first time in traffic former to June 26th, 1980, the certificate of registration is the proof).
The tour will respect its title and will take you along the diversity of this department; bucolic valleys of l'Authie, of la Course; the Capes; the historic sites of the Second world war; the mining country.
The registration fees cover lodging at a hotel or at a camp-site, the food and the entry-ticketsClick here to open the registration form then print, complete and post
