2011 Tour of Holland

Friday 29th April - Monday 2nd May

Following their attendance at the 2010 TOC Annual Rally in Northumberland Ton van Leeuwen & Arnoud Alderlieste have decided that TOC members should be given the opportunity to see their own beautiful country.

They have put together a route based upon visiting 3 of the smaller towns in Holland (Scherpenzeel, Franeker and Hoorn).

The Tour takes you from the Hook of Holland (Where the Harwich Overnight Ferry lands) on a circular route around the centre of the country:

Note: This is not the exact route we will we taking, it is just an outline.

FERRIES

For those of you travelling from the South and South West of the UK the overnight Stena Ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland is your best alternative to the cut-price Norfolk Line crossing from Dover to Dunkerque (however you will face a 190 mile drive from Dunkerque to the Hook of Holland)

For those of you in the Midlands, North and West, the P&O Hull to Rotterdam crossing is your best option - please contact Mick Popka for details of discount rates.

From Scotland and the North East the DFDS Seaways run a ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam (IJmuiden) which is a 54 mile drive to the Hook of Holland.
