Model Guide
For people new to the Traction it can sometimes be a little confusing to understand the different models
To make it very simple and to ignore any detail, lets ignore the pre-war models as they are less common anyway.
The Traction was made in three main locations - France (Paris), Belgium (Forrest) and England (Slough). All three factories
produced models that were fairly similar. The most basic models were made in Paris, Forrest were similar but with a higher
level of trim specification. Slough cars not only were right hand drive but had leather upholstery, wood interior finishing
and 12v electrics.
The cars were made in three body shapes and two engine sizes. This is where it starts to get confusing as the French and
English numbering systems were different (and clashed). First lets define some terms;
Berline - Saloon
Cabriolet - Convertible Coupe
Faux Cabriolet - Fixed Head Coupe
Legere - Light (small)
Normale - Big
So an 11BL would be an "11 Berline Legere"
