Raising the Roof Rally |
The fete is held in West Farndon, almost halfway between
Banbury and Daventry, situated near the A361. This is a charitable event,
with all proceeds going to the upkeep of the parish church, St. Mary the
Virgin; our aim this coming year is to raise funds to replace the lead that
has been stolen from the roof twice in the last 12 months.
It is a traditional village affair with live music, food, a licensed bar and a wide range of attractions for all ages. To widen the appeal of the show this coming year, which will be held on the 10th July 2010, it is planned that this will include our inaugural classic vehicle gathering, called the Raising the Roof Rally. Ripley Castle Classic car show, Harrogate
|
If you can't make the TOC Annual Rally there is always the Classic Car Rally from 10am until 4.00pm on the showfield on Sunday 1st August 2010. Over 400 classic cars and bikes are expected plus 4x4's. Admission is £6 per adult and £3.50 for under 14's, this includes entry to the Castle gardens. An additional cost of £2.50 for adults and £2.00 for children is payable for entry into the Castle. For more information visit:www.markwoodwardclassicevents.com. |

Scottish Section Week long event at Royal Deeside |
Having driven up to Northumberland at the end of July for the TOC Annual Rally (See Above), why not take the opportunity to spend a week further north in "Bonnie Scotland"?
Planning
is now underway for this event which which will be centred on the
Aboyne-Ballater region of Deeside in Aberdeenshire, where a series of events,
including, the Aboyne Highland games, the Ballater Highland games and the

2010 International Charity Classic Car Extravaganza, Skylark Showground, Cambs |
The "Famous skylark vintage and country show" is being held at the skylark
showground, Cambridgeshire, funds raised will be donated to the "Macmillan
